We love being in and learning about nature.
The high quality of childcare offered at Tiny Tots supports children's psychological development. Our experienced team of nursery practitioners are trained to support children through their development milestones. The nursery has an enviable wealth of resources, enabling learning by play to occur in hundreds of different ways.
We love being in and learning about nature.
We love sport and exercising. We learn about keeping healthy from external instructors specialising in football, tennis, yoga and more!
We love music, dancing and singing. We get to perform in regular sessions in dance, music and drama.
We love physical challenges and have opportunities to climb, swing, jump, balance to help us gain confidence and practice risk-taking.
It is the objective of Tiny Tots Nursery to provide the highest standards of care and education for all the children. We aim to provide a friendly, clean, comfortable and safe environment which stimulates and challenges every child and where enjoyment and fun are linked with discovery and learning. Staff are sensitive and responsive to the individual needs of each child and strive to meet them at all times. Each child's progress is observed and shared with parents. We use the Early Years Foundation Stage milestones to identify, implement and assess impact of activities to stretch children and help them develop across the 7 areas of learning and development.
Our settling in procedure ensures parents and children are made comfortable on starting at the nursery. At Tiny Tots, we operate a 'key person system' so each new child is allocated a member of staff who will speak with parents about requirements work through any arising issues or concerns. They make sure that each child feels special and individually cherished. The key person has an important role in managing learning records and liaising with parents to share information about progress in addition to informal handovers at the end of every session when children are collected.
Get In TouchOur aim as a team is to make every day fun. We believe that happy people thrive, so we do everything we can to make the nursery a happy place. Our team enjoy what they do and are enthusiastic about working with children and parents, coming up with innovative ways to make learning fun and enjoyable for everyone at the nursery. We don't try to 'teach' children literacy or numeracy or anything else but when we play with children using sand, water, small parts, dressing-up, construction parts, playdough etc. etc. we encourage children to engage, motivated and curious so they learn through play.
